NEW EP PRODUCTION UPDATES & ASBURY MUSIC AWARD NEWS!

Hey All!
I just wanted to write to ya and inform you of the events that are taking place cuz I figured I haven’t in awhile. Well it’s nothing TOO major but good news is good news, and I felt the need to share with you all and keep ya in the loop ! 🙂 So here goes…

​October has been a pretty busy month for me….I finally got into the studio and started to rehearse the band n stuff with some of the guys from the band Hey Tiger…they ROCK btw. Wayne Dorell is producing , and he is awesome! He has a really good ear, and he is taking things in the direction that I had pictured my stuff to go in and I think things are really gonna be great once the final product is done.

There are going to be 4 tracks, fully produced…most of you who come to my shows I’m sure will know what will be on the demo, and those of you who don’t ….I think you will be pleasantly surprised! Hey for those of you who DO come to my shows…you will STILL be pleasantly surprised because one of the songs that will be on there, I have NEVER played live YET! So you will still have another new song to look forward to ! I will be in the studio this whole weekend workin on instrumental tracks and overdubs, and we have some nice touches to add too, but I’ll keep that a surprise as well ! :-X

The other night I played at the Saint for the Asbury Music Awards Showcase…I was nominated the 3rd year in a row for Top Female Solo Acoustic which was awesome to find out ! And it was also a pleasant surprise to find out that I was nominated in another category this year for Top Female Vocalist! And that showcase will be held at the Wonderbar in Asbury Park on Oct. 18! Winners are announced at the Stone Pony on Nov. 11 , I believe…..

Aside from that bit of awesomness…I was asked to open up for a signed artist , Danielle Evin. She is on Sony/BMG…so that could be a really cool opportunity to open up for someone who is signed!

That will be at the Saint on Oct. 12!

Well there’s my news for ya ! I am excited and things are going pretty well aside from tryin to get rid of a little cough 🙂 . I will try to update again with any new information as far as when my NEW material will be available for FREE download!! yes that’s right folks…the new CD is FREE!!! I’m taking votes on what I should call this new collection of songs…lemme know what ya think.
